I was listening to a motivational speaker last night when something really caught me – it was actually advice given to him by someone else. When someone asks a successful person how they are doing, they always reply, “Fantastic!” He said, can someone really feel good all the time? I mean, we all have our problems. But the answer he received was, if you have problems it means your alive! The only people who don’t have problems are six feet under.
It really makes you think before complaining about the price of gas. We should be grateful for what we do have like having the eyes to read this.
Sound familiar?
Chances are if you saw the movie, The Secret or read any books such as The Master Key System by Charles Haanel or Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill you have probably heard this before. But are you doing it?
Are you waking up every morning and thinking about the good things you have in your life such as your children or a roof over your head? Have you started a gratitude journal? Journaling has been a powerful part of my journey and so have the positive affirmations Brad and I say every day in the morning and night. I find my affirmations especially helpful when the kids are running around and my home is in total chaos.
These are a couple of things I do for my grateful exercises on a daily basis and it weaves happiness and peace into my life.

Kelly,
You’re absolutely right. It’s great to have a constant reminder of all the wonderful things we do have in our lives to keep us going through the day, especially the hard times. Being a WAHM is not easy, there are so many things to balance in life, and all while keeping watch on your expanding business. It’s all about expansion, and the more you grow and expand, the less worries and troubles you’ll have to face as a WAHM. In my opinion, the best means of expanding your business to the max potential market is by utilizing the internet. I even set up my own website and taken my business online with Microsoft’s new Office Live Small Business. Have you heard of it? It has everything a mompreneur could ever need to create and maintain a successful online business. It has a great website layout designer that requires no HTML experience (for the less web savvy) and a highly organized e-mail system that even checks the status of sent messages. You can consolidate your invoices and look at reports of day-to-day traffic on your site, and more.
There’s plenty more information at http://smallbusiness.officelive.com
And not only does Microsoft host everything on your website free of charge, you even get a customized “.com” domain name! It’s a really cost-effective and easy way to bring any mompreneur business up and running on the internet. Please check it out, and if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me! I work with Microsoft and would be more than happy to answer any questions you or your readers may have. Again, thanks for the great read. I’ll be checking in on your future posts!
Best,
Kimberly
